This is a wonderful book. Dr. Milner and colleagues bring both anatomic pathology and microbiology expertise to the text, making it extremely useful for both AP and CP pathologists. As we have come to expect with Amirsys texts, the photographs are amazing. The discussion of differential diagnoses, tips on how to sign out actual cases, and when to use ancillary tests (or not) are also especially helpful. COI disclaimer - I am also an Amirsys author, but I liked this book so much that I bought it outright with my own money.

Great addition to the field

Great addition to the field. Hard to find all of this information at all, let alone in one place. The relevant histochemical stains and supportive ancillary laboratory tests are particularly helpful. This is practical everyday stuff that you see everyday as a surgical pathologist, and infectious disease pathology has been neglected of late with the current emphasis on molecular pathology of cancer. Essential reference for every pathologist.
