A fine text on combinatorics at the junior level.

Professor Belcastro did a good job of presenting relatively advanced combinatorics. I think most criticisms come from people misled by the title to expect something more elementary. Probably it should have been "Combinatorics with Ducks." The playfulness works well. If you don't like it: tough. Her presentation generally is quite good. She does a particularly good job of presenting linear recurrences, a topic that almost never gets the treatment it deserves. If you are a professor looking for a book at the junior level, you should consider this book.

Far and away the worst textbook I've used in 5 semesters of college.

The least useful textbook I've used as a math major by a mile. The non-stop, annoying "playfulness" and lack of explanation of several (if not most) theorems and formulas makes it nearly impossible to read. The book gives the simplest possible examples with little explanation, then several much more complex "Try This!" (not the homework section) problems with no provided answers or explanation.
Avoid at all costs.

Worst book of all time???

Awful book, the author clearly has a very good grasp of Discrete Mathematics, but she simply doesn't know how to convey that information to her readers. She does a terrible job at explaining most of the topics.
